Harvest flowers in summer for maximum strength of oils. 60 pounds of flowers = 16 oz. oil Main constituents: Volatile Oil, Coumarins, Tannins, Caffeic acid derivatives, Flavonoids, Triterpenoids Properties: Antiseptic, antidepressant, antibacterial, analgesic, antispasmodic, carminative, relaxant Uses: Burn as incense, drink in tea, and/or place in a sachet to bring restful sleep and calm. Safety Considerations: Uterine stimulant; avoid high doses during pregnancy. Limonene in Lavender can cause photosensitivity. Do not apply oil to skin without a carrier such as grapeseed oil. | |
